Today we welcome Heath Hayes Football Club to Coles Lane for the Quarter Final of the Walsall Senior Cup.
Heath Hayes FC are based in Heath Hayes near Cannock in Staffordshire, and currently play in the Midland Division One. They were founded in 1965, and first played as Heath Hayes United after they separated from Heath Hayes Co-Op Youth Club.
The Club play at the Heath Hayes Colliery Ground in Newlands Lane and are nicknamed The Hayes.
The Team play in blue and shite striped shirts, blue shorts and white socks at home, and the away kit is yellow shirts shorts and socks.
After a six-game unbeaten run in the league comes a nice distraction in the form of the Walsall Senior Cup. Last time out we beat Tividale away from home 0-3 which brings us to this game against Heath Hayes F.C, who beat Tipton 3-1 to reach tonight’s game against The Royals.
On paper Sutton should win comfortably, but as we all know in football it does not always go the way you think.
Lets all get down to Coles Lane and cheer the lads on towards the next round of the Cup, last year we made the Semi-finals, let’s see if we can go one better this year.
Here’s to an entertaining and successful game.
COME ON YOU ROYALS.
