Sutton U21's slipped to another league defeat in a game where once again they dominated possession but lacked the required quality in the final third to make it count.
Brocton took the lead midway through the 1st half from a close range effort and then defended well to hold onto their advantage. The half also saw a nasty injury to Shaun Thomas who fell awkwardly and was later found to have broken his wrist.
The 2nd half was played exclusively in the Brocton half but, despite a lot of endeavour, Sutton were unable to find a way through and the visitors left with the points.
Next week Sutton travel to AFC Birmingham Youth Development in the league.
