Mark Sanders gets to know the Directors at SCTFC

During the summer each week we will be giving an insight into the Directors at SCTFC who help keep the club running. Mark Sanders kindly prepared a questionnaire for them all to fill out and send back to be shared with all.

This week we meet Director and Club President - Bill Worship

1 How long have you been associated with Sutton Coldfield Town?

55 years

2 How did you become involved with Sutton.

Helping with the Tote.

3 Can you remember your first game? If so, which one was it?

No.

4 What is your role at the club?

Director and President, and in the past Treasurer, and Football Secretary

5 What are your typical match day duties?

Announcer and looking after match officials.

6 Do you support any other league clubs?

Aston Villa

7 What is the best game you have seen at Sutton, or your best moment?

Sutton Vs. Cheltenham Town in the 80's.

8 What is your favourite film?

Dam Busters

9 What are your hobbies other than football?

Golf, Gardening and Grand Kids

10 What are your hopes for the coming season?

To win promotion

11 What improvements would you like to see at the ground?

The new flood lights

12 Who has been the best player you have seen over the years?

To many to remember

13 Where is the furthest you have travelled to see Sutton?

Workington, Newcastle, Lowestoft.

14 What made you choose to volunteer with Sutton Coldfield?

M. Flint, the Chairman at the time.

15 What are your aspirations for the upcoming season?

To get promoted.

16 What are your thoughts on last season?

To many bad patches

17 How do you relax after the stresses of cheering Sutton?

After all these years I don't get stressed

18 Does your family share your interest in Sutton?

No

19 What are your hopes on the field for the coming season?

To be promoted

20 How many grounds have you visited with Sutton, and are there any new grounds you will be going to this season?

About 400, with 4 new ones this season.
