This was a tightly contested game with Sutton creating many chances before Leafield took the lead on 37 minutes with a strike from distance
A mix-up in the Sutton defence let in Leafield for a second on 40 minutes
The second-half saw Sutton pushing and creating opportunities, hitting the bar and post several times until the pressure paid off on 81 minutes when Kim Tsiga lashed the ball into the far corner of the Leafield net from 25 yards
Sutton continued the pressure but Leafield were able to hang on for the win
Player-of-the-match was Carly Ayre who was solid and confident in defence
Manager Andy Burman said "This was always going to be a tough game. Leafield were runners-up last year and we have just been promoted. We know what needs to be done and we need to take our opportunities when they arise"
