The Ladies took on a determined and hard-working Leek side and gained the lead in the 30th minute through a solo effort from Louise Price, who slotted home under pressure from 15 yards low into the Leek net
Leek then dominated the game, hitting the bar three times and forcing two good saves from Kerr in the Sutton goal
At the break Sutton held a slender 1-0 lead
In the second-half on 72 minutes Leek had a penalty which they converted and the game was set up for a grand finale, it was going to take something special to break the deadlock
It came on 75 minutes when Hayley Chatwin turned outside the Leek box and fired a high drive over the keeper into the Leek net
Player-of-the-match was Elisha Davis who was superb at the back for Sutton and broke up many Leek attacks
