Sutton deservedly went into a half-time lead with two goals from Laura Fryer in a dominant first forty-five minutes for the visitors
The second-half resulted in a sin-bin for a Sutton player at a crucial time when Kidsgrove pulled one back
An equaliser was scored when Sutton failed to close down on the edge of the box
Player-of-the-Match was centre-back Sophie Levick who was again outstanding in defence and also played some excellent through-balls on the attack
Manager Andy Burman said "Having played well on the front foot for half the game we failed on basic errors in closing down and over playing in key areas, giving the ball away. Laura Fryer's second goal was real quality finishing"
