An insight on The Lambs…
The Lambs currently ply their trade in the newly formed Southern League Premier Central, under the guidance of managers Andrew Danylyszyn and Gary Smith, who successfully steered the club away from relegation last season, finishing 12th in the league, accumulating 58 points across the campaign. Tamworth have endured a challenging preseason, experiencing defeats to both Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion youth teams, although beating Leicester Nirvana, 2-0, as well as Bilston Town, 6-1.
Last meeting between Tamworth FC and The Royals…

An overview of preseason so far…
Tuesday’s game signifies the half-way mark within the current build-up to the quickly approaching campaign, as Neil’s team are still to play Tividale, Wolverhampton Casuals, Newtown AFC and Evesham, the club’s final home game before the beginning of the season.
One to look out for…
A player to keep an eye out for is Tyrell Waite, the Derby-born forward’s career has taken him from Notts County, to the Swedish second division and to Lincoln City, to name a few. The striker scored 11 goals in his debut campaign for Tamworth last season, and is definitely one who should not be ignored.
