Its another league game this Saturday, and after the win on Tuesday night the Royals will be up for the fight, one to keep the winning momentum going and two, to get payback for the loss when we played them at the Manor ground.
Old foes Ilkeston are struggling at present, with only one win in their last nine, it appears their form has taken a dip since the victory over the Royals back in December.
Ilkeston are based in Derbyshire and were founded in 2017; they play at the New Manor ground which holds 3029 people.
Ilkeston FC, as the club used to be known, folded in 2017 before being bought by Alan Hardy. They were reinvented and became Ilkeston Town, so technically, they are a club Sutton have not played before other than the game in December.
Ilkeston are now in ninth position having slipped down the table in recent months and have 34 points from 27 games, whereas Sutton lie in 14th place on 29 points from 22 games. So, in reality both teams are of a similar level and after the 2-0 loss at their place, Sutton will want to put that score right.
We hope as many of you can join us to cheer the lads on to three points.
Come on you Royals.
