It’s another league game this Saturday against Ilkeston Town, and after a loss last time out, the Royals will be looking to get back to winning ways.
Old foes Ilkeston are on fire at present, with wins against Stamford, Daventry, Bedworth, Coleshill, and Spalding, and they currently sit in fourth spot.
Ilkeston are based in Derbyshire and were founded in 2017; they play at the New Manor ground which holds 3029 people. Ilkeston FC, as the club used to be known, folded and so Ilkeston Town was formed to replace the former. The Robins as they are known, play in red and white, and are currently manged by former Aston Villa player Martin Carruthers.
The last time Sutton played Ilkeston Town they ended up the winning side, running out 3-1 winners on the day. A result like this would be excellent, but as we know Ilkeston are a very different side this time round.
Sutton currently sit in 13th spot, and with only one win in eight games they will need to start to turn this poor run around.
The lads need our support more than ever, and with new striker Marselia up front with Gibson, we are sure to see a few goals.
We hope as many of you can join us to cheer the lads on to three points.
Remember tickets are available online to allow for a cashless entry, and quicker access to the ground.
Breakfast Club is also available from midday.
Come on you Royals.
