Sutton Coldfield Town Ladies 8-0 Brereton Town

After early pressure Sutton went ahead in the 8th min with an own-goal as a result of a hard low cross into the box

The Brereton keeper made some good saves but was unable to keep out drives from Hayley Chatwin and Ruth Graham before half time

The second half was very much one way traffic with superior fitness and play with Sutton adding a further five goals, Graham 2, Tiara Hemans 2 and a single from Laura Fryer

Player of the match was left-back Laura Perks who read the game well, defended when needed and set up play and supported midfield

Manager Andy Burman said " Brereton worked hard and competed well. It was pleasing to see the ladies control the game, particularly in the second half when some superb football was played. We have some key games ahead in our run into the Xmas break and everyone is working hard to meet these challenges head on"
