Sutton Coldfield Town Juniors

Sutton Coldfield Town Juniors was founded in 1970, based in Walmley, and originally started with only four teams.

We relocated to Lindridge Road in the early 1980s until we moved into our home at Bishop Walsh School in 2012 to accommodate our growing memberships.

We currently run 45 teams (and growing), from Under 7 to Under 18, both Boys and Girls teams, we will also soon be offering Disability Football and a Wildcat Girl’s Centre.

Although we share the same name with the seniors, we have never had a formal partnership. That changed back in Early 2018 when we eventually formed a working partnership with the Senior Team and club which is recognised and endorsed by the FA.

We now offer a progression through to Flood Lite football, with first team non-league football being the ultimate goal for our players, both in the men’s and the lady’s leagues.

We have a great facility at Bishop Walsh where the majority of the ‘grass roots’ football is played. We have teams in:

The Saturday MJPL for the more competitive boy’s players.

Saturday Girls football up to under 18s in the Central Warwick Girls League

Boys Sunday league which is the Central Warwick Youth Football league

We offer Futsal football for both Girl’s and Boy’s

We run a soccer school at Bishop Walsh on Saturday mornings, accommodating boys and girls from 4 years old up to 11 years. Our facilities are top class, we have a modern Club house and changing rooms which were completed in 2020 and some of the best grass pitches in Birmingham which are professionally maintained.

Our investments in the club over the last 3 years amounts to approximately £850,000 and is ongoing with projects such as getting a 3G at the Bishop Walsh ground.

We also have some great coaching staff, some who hold a UEFA B licence. We have football development officers for both Boys and Girls and a team of fantastic volunteers who give their time week in and week out to help everything run smoothly.

If you are interested in joining us in any capacity, please email our club secretary sec.sctjfc@gmail.com

We are looking to bring new teams in next season within all the leagues in which we play.

Sutton Coldfield Town are members of the FA Ace clubs programme, of which there are only 200 in the country. We are also an FA Community Standard Club and a registered charity. We are all volunteers and all money collected or raised is invested back into the football club.
