Sutton faced a hard working third-placed Goldenhill knowing that a win or draw would bring them the league title and they set off at a quick tempo
After 11 minutes centre-back Liz Smart bundled the ball over the line from a corner as Sutton continued to press hard
Goldenhill had some long range shots and a direct free-kick saved well by Chadlee Kerr
Just before the break Sutton captain Ruth Graham raced onto a through ball from the right and fired in from 20 yards across the Goldenhill keeper
After the break Goldenhill were more threatening, working hard down the flanks and creating chances from set plays
However on 61 minutes Liz Smart had a great header from a corner disallowed for a foul by another Sutton player in the box
On 79 minutes Sutton striker Tiara Hemans received the ball 30 yards out, turned to her left and drove a left-footed shot high into the roof of the Goldenhill net to complete a great display
Player of the match was keeper Chadlee Kerr who was solid, dominant and confident in the Sutton goal
