Sutton cruised into third place in the league with this emphatic victory over Coundon Court
Out of the blocks quickly, Sutton opened up the Coundon defence with Imogen Fisher and Niamh Deasy going close
But after just six minutes Georgia Whitehouse fired a high shot from distance over the Coundon keeper into the net
Coundon pulled one back with a good strike from just inside the box with both sides going into half-time all square
After the break Sutton began to pile on the pressure and were rewarded with a trade mark goal from Haley Chatwin on 51 minutes
Niamh Deasy quickly followed with a goal on 54 minutes to make it 3-1 to the home-side
Late in the game new signing Jodie Lewis put through Abbie Hyland who fired in a great shot, only to be marginally offside
There were many good performances in this game particularly Hannah Jones who was resolute and determined in midfield but the player of the match was captain Ruth Graham who was well organised at the back and won many important headers
Manager Andy Burman said "Coundon always prove to be difficult opponents and this game was no different. We created many opportunities today which is pleasing and Jodie Lewis made a sound debut. Hannah Tromans in goal was a rock and gave us a solid platform on which to build"
