Sutton continue good run with convincing victory

The Royals got off to a lively start on three minutes with a break down the right and a fine low ball into the centre from Imogen Fisher which Sophie Levick converted first time

With the home side dominating play, on twenty-one minutes Jamie-Leigh Fowler slotted in following further pressure in the Coundon box

The visitors had rare attacks and failed to penetrate the Sutton goal as the defence held firm

Ruth Graham added a third following a quality corner from the right

At break 3-0 to the Royals

Niamh Deasy added two further goals in the second-half to secure the victory

Player-of-the-Match was Sophie Levick who had an outstanding game with drive and energy down the left-hand side

Manager Andy Burman said "Coundon always provide good opposition, work hard and play football. We got off to a good start and didn't look back with some quality goals and build up play. We have to treat every league game as a cup final and at the same time respect the opposition. Onto next week in the vitality Women's FA Cup away to Sheffield FC, which will be an historic milestone for Royals, with reaching the first round proper for the first time"
