In difficult conditions Lye proved worthy opponents and very difficult to break down with a strong wind across the pitch
No goals at half-time
The second-half saw the Royals create more opportunities and although Lye produced some nice football and kept possession well they were rarely a threat on the Royals goal
Opportunities fell to Lampitt, Fisher and Levick but it was Imogen Fisher who followed up on a poor clearance from Lye which resulted in a rebounded shot with the keeper well out of her goal and Fisher slotted home from just inside the box
On 86 minutes Deasy scored a trademark goal to secure the victory for the Royals
Player-of-the-Match was Annabelle Jones who closed down play and worked well as part of the back-four unit
