In this last game of the season it was a top-of-the-table clash between two very good sides, in front of a large crowd at Coles Lane
Stourbridge took the lead on twenty-nine minutes with the Royals creating some opportunities from set-plays and on the break
The second-half began much the same as the first with both teams working hard to create opportunities
On sixty-two minutes Niamh Deasy broke through the Stourbridge defence to slot home the equaliser, following good work by Poppy Deakin down the left
Stourbridge scored a minute later following some poor marking by the home side and gained a third on eighty-two minutes with a through-ball which caught the Royals defence flat-footed
Player-of-the-Match was Annabelle Jones who had a great performance and was solid in defence
A worthy win for Stourbridge as deserved league winners and we wish them every success in the National League next season
From all the players and staff we say a massive "THANK YOU" for all the support we have received this season and everyone behind the scenes who makes all this possible
We will be back, fitter and stronger than ever to take on the challenge again next season!
