Sutton Coldfield Town 8-0 City of Stoke

Sunday saw the return to League action with the visit of City of Stoke to Coles Lane

COS had made three new signings and were much improved on previous encounters

The Royals made a lively start against a strong swirling wind with three goals in the first twenty-four minutes with a fourth being added on forty-five minutes

But despite the score line, COS kept going and trying to work and support each other moving forward

The second-half saw much the same with the Royals adding a further three goals

Scorers were Abbie Hyland, OG (2), Niamh Deasy (2), Ruth Graham, Chloe Finn and Ameile Dennis with her first goal for the open-age team

Player-of-the-Match was Chloe Finn for an outstanding display and work-rate in central-midfield

Other fine displays from Sarah Lampitt and Annabelle Jones
