The Royals played a transitioning Redditch side who are in the process of rebuilding and despite the score-line, were well organised, played some attractive football and always fought to the very end
Taking a seven-goal advantage into the break, the Royals played a pressing game with a good performance throughout the squad and notable work from new signing Chloe Finn and full-back Annabelle Jones
With 7 players sharing the goals it was a true squad performance and Player-of-the-Match was Sophie Levick who capped a fine individual display with a 35 yard top-corner drive
Manager Andy Burman said "This was a very good performance by all the players and Redditch deserve credit for sticking to the task and never giving up, in what was a difficult game to get into. Their keeper saved further attempts with some fine saves under pressure. We also thank them for their welcome and kind hospitality after the match"
The Royals move into the League Cup Quarter-Final to play local rivals Lichfield City at Coles Lane on 6th March
