Everything was setup for this fixture to be a fantastic advert for women's football at this level
A massive (and surely record-breaking crowd), the most superb grass pitch that you could ever wish to play on and two quality teams battling it out for an enthusiastic and supportive crowd
The Royals took an early advantage when Carly Aldred was brought down in the box but somehow managed to stay on her feet and slot the ball into he far-right corner of the Kidderminster net on 10 minutes
On 17 minutes Phoebe Hopwood turned on the edge of the box and fired in low with a left-footed drive
Whilst Kidderminster were never out of it, it was the Royals that continued to dominate and on 23 minutes Chloe Finn fired in from just inside the box, beating the keeper who was at full-stretch
Kidderminster came out in the second-half more determined and had much more possession of the ball and caused problems with their breaks and long-balls out of defence
The game was wrapped up by Phoebe Hopwood on 62 minutes following a long-range shot from Ruth Graham that hit the bar and was neatly slotted in
Kidderminster got a consolation goal on 82 minutes
Player-of-the-Match was Natasha Rothery for her solid contribution in midfield
We would like to thank Kidderminster for the hospitality, a fantastic advert for women's football and such a great stadium and pitch to play on
