In what was a tight game, the Royals dominated possession and were up against a ten-person defence for the whole game

Opportunities were created from wide and from set-plays and credit to the Leamington keeper who kept them in the game on many occasions with excellent saves from range, set-plays and point-blank

With honours even at half-time, the Royals continued to press with the occasional break from Leamington

Midway through the second-half the Leamington keeper made a superb save high to her left to keep out a certain goal

The deadlock was finally broken on 86 minutes when Caitlin Hopwood attacked wide down the left and cut back a low ball to Tiara Hemans who fired in first-time from 12 yards

Player-of-the-Match was Ella Doocey for a fine display in midfield
