Sutton Coldfield Town Royals battled hard to dig out a narrow victory against a determined and well organised Chelmlsey

The Royals enjoyed most of the early territory and chances, restricting the home team to counter attacks, and took the lead midway through the first half when Corinna Williams finished off a trademark run

Chelmlsey were competing well and were rewarded with two quick goals, one from a free kick, the second from a quick break away

The Royals upped their game after half time, moving the ball wide and creating numerous chances

They were eventually rewarded with a penalty but the kick was saved by the impressive Chelmlsey keeper

Further pressure resulted in another penalty for handball from a Nolan cross and this time Mason made no mistake

Sutton were now going all out for the winner and were rewarded when Crystal Williams turned in the box to smash home what proved to be the decisive goal
