Sutton Coldfield Town Royals recorded a home victory to take a firm grip on second place in the table

Sutton controlled the game from the start playing some fine passing football creating numerous chances, but the Rubery defence held firm and the match remained goalless at half time

Rubery grew in confidence after the break and started to create chances of their own, with stand in keeper Hamida Hamid making some fine saves to keep the scores level

Sutton continued to press with patient build up play and were eventually rewarded when Corinna Williams hit a shot from the edge of the box into the roof of the net

Rubery pushed for an equaliser but the result was sealed when Nolan finished off a great passing move from distance
