Sutton moved level on points at the top of the table with a hard fought victory over Wednesfield

Wednesfield started strongly and were rewarded early on when Sutton failed to clear a corner and the ball was poked home at the near post

Sutton responded well and equalised when Osman found space to attack and lifted the ball over the stranded keeper

Sutton had the upper hand for the rest of the half but failed to capitalise with a number of wasted opportunities

Wednesfield regrouped at half-time and kept The Royals pegged back in the early stages

Eventually Sutton's superior fitness started to tell and, after some fine work down the left by Nolan, Eva Lockley calmly collected the cross and stroked the ball home

Crystal Williams wrapped up the victory sliding the ball past the keeper from close range
