Sutton staged a remarkable second-half comeback to turn around a three-goal half-time deficit to return to the top of the table with one game to go
Sutton played into the wind in the first-half and although creating several good chances were unable to take advantage
They were made to pay when a disputed penalty gave Starlands the lead
The game flowed from end to end, however Starlands snatched two late first-half goals to lead 3-0 at the break
With nothing to lose Sutton were quickly out of starting blocks in the second half and Barnard reduced the lead with a close-range finish
The deficit was further reduced when Osman coolly slotted a low drive past the keeper
Starlands were now on the back-foot and Sutton brought the game level with a fine strike from distance by Osman
With 15 minutes to go Williams lined up a shot from distance and, with the help of a defender’s head, sent the ball flying over the keeper
A frantic final few minutes saw half-chances at either end, but Sutton saw the game out to set up a title decider with Kewford Eagles
Player-of-the-match was Amber Barnard who had an excellent game playing out wide
