Redditch Borough Reserves 0-6 Sutton Coldfield Town Development

Our new adult Development team under Head Coach Lauren Whittington got off to a flying start in their League campaign with a victory over Redditch Borough

In the first league game of the season, the team worked hard to secure victory

In the twenty-first minute it was Martha Riley who opened the scoring with a brilliant team goal which came from playing out from the back whilst under pressure

This was then followed by further goals from Ameile Dennis (2), Hana Shah, Martha Riley scored a second with Lucy Morris rounding the keeper to wrap things up for the Royals Development

A sound defensive performance only let a single shot on target throughout the whole game, which was comfortably saved by keeper Neve Jones

The team battled through a scrappy game and continued to play their style of football which won through in the end

Martha Riley was Player-of-the-Match following an outstanding display

This Sunday the Development team host Coundon Court Development at Coles Lane with a 2pm kick-off, so please come down and support this exciting new team!
