This was a very physical game which saw Coundon compete solidly in all areas of the pitch but it was the Royals clinical finishing that was the difference between the two sides

Despite the score-line, the Royals defence was made to work hard by a determined Coundon side

Instead of a single Player-of-the-Match award, head coach Lauren Whittington gave the award to the whole squad for their effort, determination and quality of play

She commented "I was very proud of all the players today, it was not as clear cut as the result suggested and we had to work really hard during periods of this game. We stuck to the task and were well disciplined in our team play and as individuals"
