The Birmingham Senior Cup is a competition for Birmingham County FA club teams, and is organised by the Birmingham County Football Association. It started in 1876, and is the oldest county cup competition still active.
This cup competition has featured some of the West Midlands biggest clubs over the years including Aston Villa, Birmingham City, West Bromwich Albion, Coventry City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Walsall, Stoke, and Port Vale.
Sadly, in recent years the higher division clubs have used the competition as a reserve or youth team’s competition, giving the non-league clubs a greater chance of success.
Sutton, having progressed in the FA trophy, will be relishing the chance to beat a big name in this county cup competition.
Please come down to Coles Lane this Tuesday night (19/10/2021) for what promises to be a very entertaining game.
Kick-off is at 19.45.
COME ON YOU ROYALS!
