Sutton have had a poor return in their last 8 league games, with only one win to show for their efforts. Next up is a trip to Leicestershire to take on a struggling Shepshed Dynamo.
Shepshed Dynamo are based in the small town of Shepshed in Leicestershire. They were founded in 1994 after reforming under this new name due to financial difficulties; their previous name was Shepshed Charterhouse. They are nicknamed The Dynamo and play at the Dovecote stadium.
They play in black and white striped shirts at home and yellow away, Martin O’Neill used to manage them back in the late 80s before he moved to Leicester City.
Shepshed are currently in 15th place on 29 points after 27 games, whereas Sutton have dropped into 11th spot on 39 points after 29 games. Shepshed are also on a poor run which includes only one win in their last 8 games.
The last time Sutton played Shepshed away was last season where we lost 3-0. We also lost 1-0 at home earlier this season, but we are a different team now. Both teams are in poor form, and with Shepshed having the home advantage, they will be the favourites. But, Sutton could use this game as a springboard to start another unbeaten run.
Let’s get behind the team and hope Sutton can get back to winning ways.
