It’s been a difficult week for Sutton, going out the cup and dropping all three points at home to Hinckley LR.
It will be a difficult test against Sporting Khalsa who have a good side, and are looking to get back into the play-offs themselves.
Sporting Khalsa have had a mixed season so far, having fallen out of the play-off positions in the early part of the season, only to find themselves back in contention after some good results more recently.
Sporting Khalsa are situated in the heart of the Black Country, in Willenhall, a suburb of Walsall.
They were formed in 1991 by the local Sikh Community, and they are the first British Asian club to own their own ground. The ground was purchased from Willenhall Town in 2010 after moving from Abbey Park, the former home of Bloxwich Town.
They are nicknamed the Lions, and currently play at Noose Lane in the Aspray Arena, and they play in a yellow and blue strip.
Sutton are in 9th place with 35 points after 23 games, and with 10 wins to their name so far this season. Sporting Khalsa are doing slightly better with 11 wins, and sit in 7th place on 36 points after 23 games played.
Sutton played Sporting Khalsa earlier in the season winning 2-0 at their place, so a similar result would be just what the doctor ordered to prevent any further headaches going into the final half of the season.
Hope to see you there to push The Royals to three points.
