Saturday we welcome Aylesbury Football Club to Coles Lane. Aylesbury Football Club is based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and were founded in 1930.
They are nicknamed ‘The Moles’ and play in the SRD Stadium in Haywood Way which holds 2000 supporters. Their home kit is a red shirt, black shorts and red socks; away is a blue and yellow shirt, blue shorts and blue and yellow socks.
Sutton had a fantastic win last Saturday against a tough Bedford side who are also challenging for the play-offs. This week we are against Aylesbury who are already relegated and have lost their last four games; however, they are not to be underestimated. They have had credible draws with Didcot Town and Coleshill Town in recent weeks, not to mention wins over Bedford and Cambridge.
Sutton beat them 2-0 away earlier in the season, so will be expected to get three points this weekend and they will need them if they are going to get into the top 5 again.
We have Didcot away on Monday which is another six pointer; a win there, and we will have a great chance of those play-offs.
We will be collecting on Saturday for the new lights so any change, even just coppers in your wallets or pockets, we would be very grateful.
Let’s have some good support this weekend for out final push to promotion.
Here’s to a successful and entertaining game.
