Ahead of the 17:00 pm registration deadline yesterday, Royals Manager Ross Thorpe has the following updates for the squad

Ahead of the 17:00 pm registration deadline yesterday, Royals Manager Ross Thorpe confirmed that the club had extended Nathan Caine loan from Mansfield Town, until the end of the season.

Thorpe commented: “We are delighted to keep Nathan until the end of the season, he’s been great for us since he’s come in and has given us something different to the other forwards we have in the group, this allows us to mix up the forward line to keep them all as fresh as possible, as a squad we have a lot of attacking options, which for any manager is a positive, it keeps them all on their toes and allows us to adapt tactically and not lose rhythm.”

“He’s a super lad, and really settled well into the group which is credit to him. Personally, I want to thank Richard Cooper at Mansfield Town for helping to get this done.”

Thorpe also confirmed that dual registrations for Asa Charlton (Redditch United) and Camron McWilliams (Nuneaton Borough) had also been done.

“It just gives us cover, they’ll both remain with their parent club and it just allows us to use them, if available. There aren’t many in non league more experienced and respected as Asa, and Camron has impressed me whenever I’ve seen him for Nuneaton. Again, I want to thank Matt Clarke and Jimmy Ginnelly for helping to get this done.”
