Royals boss Neill Tooth last night added Mykel Beckley and Jamie Sheldon to his squad. Both players have played for Sutton before with Sheldon returning from Stratford Town and Beckley re joining from Daventry Town.

Tooth had this to say, "Beks has been training with us for a number of weeks whilst he was waiting on the outcome of his trials picked up on the back of him doing so well in the Budweiser trials last year.To be honest im shocked that he has not been snapped up by clubs in higher divisions. He is a very skilful player and he is rapid both with and without the ball at his feet and he can play on either wing or up front so im excited to see him in action. Sheldz returns following a year at Stratford where he was on fire last season and scored 16 goals from midfield. There were times last season when we missed Jamie in our team so as soon as I found out he had left Stratford I had no hesitation in getting him back in."

Both players go straight into Saturdays squad to face Lincoln Utd.
