Sutton Coldfield Town Ladies 2-0 Crusaders

This was a competitive game with both sides working hard to gain an edge

Crusaders came close from a corner early on but on 19 minutes Laura Fryer broke free down the right and fired the ball home

This was the 500th goal scored by the team in its 4 year history

Crusaders again came close with play down both flanks and Sutton had two good opportunities from Chatwin corners

Sutton took a narrow advantage into half-time

The second-half saw Sutton gain the upper hand with a superb Hayley Chatwin goal from just inside the box which curled into the far right corner of the Crusaders net

The game was marred on 69 minutes when a player from each side saw a red-card for violent conduct

Player-of-the-match was Sarah Lampitt who was a tower of strength and energy for 90 minutes
