Sutton got off to a slow start by giving away a penalty within two minutes with some sloppy play, but began to pick up as the first-half continued scoring three goals before the break with two from Niamh Deasy and a real rocket from Del Clifford
Lye fought hard and contested every ball making Sutton work hard for possession and at the breakdown
Immediately after the break Sutton made it four goals with a first-time drive from Jamie-Leigh Fowler
Player-of-the-Match was Jamie-Leigh Fowler for her work-rate, her dominance in midfield and a well-taken goal
Manager Andy Burman said "All cup games are difficult and this was no exception. We were not at our best and at the end of the day it was about being in the hat for the next round. Big thanks to Lye who made a game of it and their good organisation in the background made it safe for all"
