The Birmingham Senior Cup is a competition for Birmingham County FA club teams. It began in 1876 and is the oldest county cup competition still active.

Sutton have won three of their last four games in all competitions and would love to take a big scalp in the form of Leamington on Tuesday night.

Leamington are currently playing in a higher league, namely The National league North and sit in 13th place on 25 points after 19 games. It’s quite close at the top of their league, with them being only 2 points off a play-off place in seventh position.

Leamington FC are a club based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire and play at The New Windmill ground near Bishops Tachbrook. They are nicknamed The Brakes and were founded in 1933.

Recent honours include Midland Combination division 2 champions 2001-02, Premier Division Champions 2004-05, Southern league Division one Midlands champions 2008-09. They are also current holders of the Birmingham Senior cup having won it twice on the bounce and looking for a Hat trick of wins this year.

Leamington are unbeaten in their last five games with a victory and 4 draws, so form wise they are on a good run.

The last time these two sides met each other was in 2009 when Sutton ran out 3-0 winners. A similar result would be just wonderful for Sutton to get into the next round.
