Sutton meet Spalding Utd in Lincolnshire this Saturday for their 25th league game of the season.
Following on from a hard-fought draw last weekend, The Royals will be keen to pick up points on the road as well.
Spalding are on a good run at the moment having only lost one game all season. Spalding sit in third place in the League, 10 places above Sutton, so a very tough game will be expected.
Spalding are based in Lincolnshire and were formed in 1921. They are nicknamed the Tulips and play at the Sir Halley Stewart Field. Their honours include United Counties League Premier Division Champions in season 13-14, and League Cup winners in 94-95.
Spalding will be playing in their blue strip, so the Royals will be in their grey strip.
Earlier in the season these two sides played at Coles Lane where Spalding won 1-0, but both teams are very different now and are looking in different directions, with Sutton looking ever closer to the bottom four and Spalding looking towards top spot.
The last time Sutton played at Spalding both teams played out a 1-1 draw so Sutton would love a similar result or maybe even to go one better.
After some difficult results in recent weeks Sutton will be hoping they can turn things round on Saturday.
Here’s to an entertaining and successful game.
COME ON YOU ROYALS.
