Sutton take on Cambridge City this Saturday, with the hope that they can kick start more positive results and performances. Having lost their last two away games, and in between, a poor result against Daventry after controlling the game for 80 minutes, a win was really needed.
Cambridge, so far have 42 points from 34 games, and are in 12th spot, and are one place above Sutton on 41. Cambridge took all 3 points on Tuesday night against Daventry, something which Sutton failed to do last time out at Coles Lane.
Cambridge City are based just outside the historic city of Cambridge. They currently ground share with Histon but await a new ground which is currently being built in Sawston. They were founded in 1908 and are nicknamed the Lilywhites. They play in black and white at home and light blue and white away.
Last season, Sutton lost 1-0 to Cambridge at home, but managed to get all three points earlier in the season after winning 1-0 on the day.
Cambridge have been a similar side to Sutton in terms of results this season, and both sit in a mid -table position with little to play for other than pride.
Hope as many of you as possible can come to see The Royals and cheer them on to a valuable three points.
