After leaving it late last Saturday to get the win, Cameron Stuart and the lads will be looking to get back to back wins for the first time since December.
Quorn are based in Leicestershire, and like Sutton play their football on a 3G pitch. They play at the Farley Way Stadium and are nicknamed The Reds, and are also known as “The Methodists”, which is a nod to their historical name.
They were formed in 1924 and were promoted to the Northen Premier League by winning the play-offs in The United Counties League.
Quorn are 6th in the table on 52 points after 29 games, where as Sutton are in 9th on 42 points. Despite the gap, Quorn have played one game less than Sutton. They are on a great run unbeaten in 8 games scoring 19 goals in that run and only conceding 5.
Sutton are on a poor run of games despite last Saturdays win. Sutton have scored 8 goals in their last 8 games and have conceded 15.
Looking at those statistics it will be a very tough game for Sutton.
The last time Sutton played them they drew 1-1 away, in fact the last 5 times they have met they have never beaten Quorn, so it will be a big scalp for Sutton to finally get a victory.
Everyone at the club would like to extend their congratulations to our defender, James Beresford, on the birth of his Son Arthur. Who knows, he may be a future Royal in the making.
Hope to see as many of you as can make it to Coles Lane to cheer the boys on, and don’t forget, it’s FREE ENTRY!
