After a great run of four wins on the bounce, we are at home to local rivals Boldmere St Michael.
Boldmere have had a difficult campaign compared to what Sutton have, with just 2 wins from their last 11 games in the league, and currently sitting in 13th spot. They did secure wins against Walsall Wood, and a very good win against Gresley at the weekend.
Sutton have had a good run recently with 4 wins on the bounce, and sit in 8th spot nine points of the play-offs.
Boldmere St Michaels are a football club based in Boldmere. They play at Trevor Brown Memorial ground, a ground which was named after their former chairman. The ground currently has a capacity of 2500 of which 230 are seated. They are nicknamed the Mikes and were founded in 1883 as a youth football team attached to the local church bible class. They played other local church teams in friendlies until 1912, when they entered their first football league.
They play in home shirts of white and black with black shorts and black and white socks.
The last time these two sides met at Coles Lane was back in September, where Boldmere won 2-0 in the FA Trophy. We also played at Boldmere and won 1-0. In fact, Sutton have struggled against Boldmere for some time, so a positive result at home is long overdue.
Sutton will need to bring their A game to beat this very successful outfit. Can Sutton do it or will it be a similar story?
So come on down and cheer the lads on to hopefully another home win, and the double over our rivals.
