It’s another league game this Saturday at Coles Lane, and they are coming thick and fast over the holiday period.
This is the second time we have met Carlton this season having lost the previous meeting 1-0.
Sutton are a different side from the one that met Carlton back in August, with some new players and a team that have come through some tough battles together.
Sutton will be relishing the chance to get revenge in this reverse fixture, especially as Sutton are on an unbeaten four game run and heading up the table.
Carlton have recently suffered a loss in form having only won once in the last five league games, but are still in sixth place on 31 points. Similar to Sutton they have a few games in hand, so should easily be contenders for a play off position come the end of the season.
Carlton Town are based in Nottingham. They were formed in 1904, are nicknamed The Millers and play at the Bill Stokeld Stadium. They will be playing in their away colours of black and white.
More recently, Carlton became Division One champions in the Northern Counties East League in 2005-06 and Central Midlands League champions in 2002-03. They also won the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup in 2016-17.
Sutton will be hoping their good run continues this Saturday, and will need your support to get all three points, so come on down to Coles Lane and let’s get behind Toothy’s men.
You will be entertained.
Come on you Royals.
