Sutton are in amazing form at present! The best in the league at the moment, and will be looking for their fifth consecutive win this Saturday.
Sutton are in eighth place and are heading up the table at a rate of knots. In fact, they are looking like a team to challenge for the play-offs as they are have hit their best form in the final run in.
Sutton will meet Kidsgrove Athletic on Saturday.
Kidsgrove Athletic FC are based in Staffordshire and are nicknamed The Grove, they play their home games at Hollinwood Road.
They were formed in 1952 and like Sutton play in blue and white at home, but at Coles Lane we will see them in their green and white stripes.
Kidsgrove’s most recent achievements include being the Staffordshire Senior Cup winners in 2012, mid Cheshire League cup winners in 1986 and North West Counties league champions in 2001-2002.
Kidsgrove Athletic are currently in seventh place with a game in hand on Sutton, so Saturday’s game will be a big test to see which of the two sides can push for that final play off place.
Kidsgrove have had mixed form of late only winning two of their last six games, so form wise Sutton should be looking at capitalizing on their current form.
Sutton last played Kidsgrove in the league 14/15 season running out 2-0 winners on the day, a repeat of that score line would be very welcome this Saturday.
Please come along and support the Royals this Saturday as we are collectively the 12th man of the team.
