Sutton will be looking to get another victory this Saturday against fellow strugglers Daventry Town. After the wonderful performance last Saturday, and even better result, you would not back against them.
The last time The Royals played Daventry away was back in 13/14 in the FA Trophy, and was a game which they lost 1-0. Sutton have already played them at home this season losing 3-1 on the day, but Toothy was in charge then, and so much has changed with the personnel that The Royals will be a different entity for the boys in purple.
Daventry are based in Northamptonshire and were formed in 1886, they are nicknamed the purple army and play at the Elderstubbs. Recent honours include United Counties league Division one 2016-17 and the Hillier cup in 2013-14.
Daventry, like Sutton, have struggled in the league this season, and both teams are very evenly matched having both won five games and drew seven games so far this season.
Daventry sit in 17th place on 22 points, which is the same points total as The Royals, however they are in 16h place due to having a better goal difference.
The support last weekend was phenomenal, and surely had a bearing on the final result. While it would be a surprise to get over 800 followers on Saturday, any support for the lads would be most welcome.
